We are a social club open to all residents of Marshfield, MA. We have members who were born in Marshfield and members who are brand new to town. We do monthly and yearly events for women, men, children, and families. We also donate to local charities each year. We are a "pay as you go" group, so some events have a small required fee. Ladies Night Out
Join the ladies and enjoy a dinner and drinks at a local restaurant, movie or other fun locale.  This is a time to catch up with friends, try a new restaurant or join the group at a fun night out.  Please email us at Ladiesnight@marshfieldnewcomers.com to find out where the next reservation is being made.

Tea & Tots
Our weekly playgroup provides an opportunity for kids to enjoy unstructured play and moms to relax and catch up with each other.  Hostesses are on a voluntary basis, rotating through out the year at different members homes.   Themed parties are planned for Halloween, Winter Holidays and an end of year pool party. Our Tea & Tots group meets every Thursday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.   On the third Thursday of the month, trips to local attractions or playgrounds are scheduled.  Please email us at teaandtots@marshfieldnewcomers.com to find out who is hosting and get directions to their home.

Men’s Poker
The men meet monthly at a member's house for a low-stakes game of poker with snacks and drinks provided by the rotating host.  Please email us at Poker@marshfieldnewcomers.com to get in on the next game and get directions to their home.

Ladies Lunch In
Want to get some good ideas for an upcoming themed get-together? Join the ladies to gather for a child-free potluck lunch at a member’s home.  A monthly theme is chosen and everyone brings a dish to share.   

Ladies Lunch Out
These lunching ladies gather for a child-free lunch at a local restaurant, taking the opportunity to try different menus.  During the holiday season, lunch may be scheduled at a local shopping venue such as Wrentham outlets or Derby Street Shops.  

Arts & Culture
Arts & Crafts or Arts & Culture, take this opportunity to learn a new hobby or experience a visit at cultural venue.  From painting pottery to attending a poetry reading or wine tasting, join this fun loving group to expand your horizons. You need not be crafty or artsy to attend. 

Ladies' Game Night
Game Night is a time to get together chat, laugh and play a fun game. Games vary by month from Bunco an easy-to-learn dice game, to a card or trivia game. This fun evening is hosted at different member’s homes on a  rotating basis.  The hostess chooses the game and provides snacks; you provide your beverage of choice.  The cost is usually $5, which covers the cost of the prizes, such as the much-coveted "Bunco Queen" award. 

Book Club
Book Club meets to to discuss various books suggested by members for reading and discussion. Themed evenings, authors teas and bookstore keeps these meetings page turners.  

Adult Social
Adult Social is a fun way to get together with friends, new and old in a relaxed atmosphere.   The evenings vary from parties like home brewer’s beer tasting to themed potluck dinners.  This fun evening is usually hosted at different member homes.  This allows for late arrivals to due kids activity commitments or for the quick trip home in case of a babysitter emergency.  

Getaways
Sometime you just have to getaway, so do it with friends you enjoy spending time with.  Throughout the year we schedule day trips, family gatherings and ladies getaways.

Ladies getaways include a fall shopping/spa weekend in tax free New Hampshire, and a spring getaway to destination which have included Vegas and New Orleans.

Family getaways include a ski weekend where you don’t have to ski to join us, or a night or two at a local resort during a school vacation week.

Summer day trips are scheduled during the summer to keep the kids occupied.  These trips include; Canobie Lake Park, Water Wizz and a Pirate Cruise or whale watch.

Board Meetings
Help organize the activities of our group.  Join us for our monthly board meetings to suggest new events or help improve existing ones.  You don’t have to be a board member to attend.  Board meetings are typically held in the evenings at different board members homes.  

Annual Events
Every year we hold annual events to allow the entire membership to come together,  meet all the new members and catch up with older members.  Events like the Cookie Swap Holiday Party (December), Summer Family Picnic (mid-summer), and Mothers Day Brunch (May) are just a few of the events to look forward to during the year.
